Trade & installers

For the people who fit it

A security system is only as good as its commissioning. SALUS runs an installer programme for that reason — and a dual sales model that deliberately sends installations to partners.

The SALUS Installers Club

A free programme for installers, built around getting new products into your hands before launch and sending enquiries your way.

  • Free to join — no membership fee
  • Early access to pre-launch product samples, so you have fitted a device before a customer asks about it
  • Traffic and leads driven to your business through the installer network

Why the model works for installers

Direct sales and installation leads, not either/or

SALUS Protect sells both ways on purpose. The reasoning, in the company's own words, is that most manufacturers force a choice — online only, or through an installer — and the customer is better served by being offered both.

WHAT DIRECT SALES DOES

Reaches the confident DIY buyer

Some homeowners will always self-install. Selling to them directly captures that demand instead of losing it, and the configuration tool guides the system choice by property type.

WHAT IT DOES FOR YOU

Sends you the ones who won't

Customers who need a certified grade, professional monitoring or simply someone else to do the work are routed to installers — new business rather than a lost sale.

SALUS states that the dual approach is intended to open new sales avenues for partners and to bring customers who require professional installation directly to them.

Buying

Where to buy

SALUS Controls sells through distributors and authorised retailers across Europe, alongside its own direct channel for the Protect range. The country selector on the SALUS Controls site lists the markets served — Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden and the UK.

For a project that needs a specification, a device schedule or commissioning support, go to the trade team rather than a retail channel.

What to have ready

  • Property type and approximate floor area
  • Whether a certified grade is required
  • Whether professional monitoring is wanted
  • Existing SALUS smart heating, if any, and the gateway model
  • Openings to protect: doors, windows, outbuildings

If the property already runs SALUS Smart Home, the security devices join the existing gateway and app — up to 200 devices in total — rather than needing a second system.
